Agave americana (548)

A lovely Agave from our Reading rescue, thick chunky leaves with contrasting spines. There are also several pups making an appearance!

Most Agaves will be fine outdoors right up until the first frost and after the last. They are incredibly hardy plants.

Pot size 8cm, height approx. 19cm

These plants require very bright light, greenhouse conditions ideally. Water thoroughly but only when bone dry, and restrict watering from October to around March. See our care advice article for full details.
